Swift quit Big Machine in 2018, and she signed with Republic Records. In 2019, Swift released Lover (2019) and was followed by Miss Americana (2020), a documentary about her life. With her albums for 2020, Folklore and Evermore, Swift ventured into alternative music and indie folk. The two singles "Cardigan" and "Willow" were atop the Hot 100. Swift started recording her earlier six albums after a dispute with their masters. Two of the albums were released in 2021--Fearless(Taylor’s version) and Red (Taylor’s version). "All Too Well (10 minute version)" was the longest song to reach the top of the Hot 100. Her 2022 album Midnights along with its single "Anti-Hero", set records for streaming music that have stood the test of time.
