SarahAahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980) more popularly known as Sarah Shahi, an American actress and former model. She was the lead character Carmen in the TV show The L Word, Kate Reed on the legal drama on USA Network Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS"crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). Also, she played the character of Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] as well as in a supporting role in Alias. In the year 2018, she appeared in the television series Reverie. She starred in a recurring role on City on a Hill on Showtime and in seven episodes of The Rookie as Jessica Russo the love interest of her. Shahi met Robert Altman while working as an actor on Dr. T and the Women of Texas. Altman urged Shahi to move to Hollywood and she received roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek as well as Reba and Supernatural. In 2005, she was in the supporting character role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which she joined in its second season. Shahi's two-year contract was not renewed after the conclusion of the fourth season. Shahi was dismissed.
