Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez an American/Cuban TV arbitrator for Caso Cerrado, is the host of Ana Polo Rules. Ana was born and was raised in Cuba's Havana. Her move to Miami with her family around age two after moving out of Havana. Ana Maria Polo was born in Habana in Cuba. She is currently hosting the Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" which is an Spanish programming on television that was nominated by the Daytime Entertainment Emmy Award. In 2015, she was ranked as the most popular Spanish-language show on 4pm for the key demos. Polo was born April 11 of 1959, in Havana, Cuba and went into Florida International University, where she received a diploma in political sciences. After that, she received the PhD in law at the University of Miami and practiced law for twenty years within the City of Miami. Following her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo was first shown to viewers on television in 2001 through Telemundo's show Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other court shows where the legal skills of her was showcased. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958 she published the book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) in which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain to move to an adventure in the United States in 1960. Polo is a survivor of breast cancer and often gives talks to help raise money. She has fought for LGBT rights for a long time. She has been in the Florida Bar since 1987, and has graduated in law from the University of Miami School of Law.
