The couple lived together in Pamela Adlon after moving to Laurel Canyon Los Angeles. Gunn is most well-known for her character Skyler White in AMC drama Breaking. She was nominated for her role in the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. Her performance was a winner in 2013 and 2014. She wrote an opinion piece in the month of August 2013 in The New York Times, in which she discussed the public's disapproval of her portrayal.
