Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician and songwriter. Harry Styles has been acknowledged as the composer for the One Direction band. The child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles studied at the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, where he created his own musical band with 3 schoolmates, which was dubbed White Eskimo. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which formed in 2010. In the contest, the group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart from Bonnie Tyler so the group was one of the contenders for the prize. However, they finished third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Although Harry Styles and his group didn't win, Cowell agreed to pay 2 million pounds for One Direction to sign with Syco Records. Syco record label.
